Drop-off for (illegal) fireworks on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Market Square
The municipality of Zoetermeer is also taking extensive measures this year to ensure a safe and festive turn of the year. One of the measures is a turn-in campaign for (illegal) fireworks, where you can turn in your fireworks without risk of prosecution.
In other cities in the Netherlands, these return actions proved to be a great success: many kilos of fireworks were safely disposed of as a result. So stop by and hand in your fireworks. The police, together with specialist companies, will ensure the safe disposal and destruction of the collected fireworks.
