Apply for a housing permit

Before completing the application, check our website zoetermeer.nl/housingpermit in which case you need a housing permit. Make sure you have had your landlord or manager complete and sign the annex to housing permit (pdf) in advance.

Enclose with the application

Make sure you have all attachments ready digitally before completing the form.

• Landlord's completed housing permit attachment (pdf). Make a scan of the completed attachment, not a photo.
• Copy of identity document (or residence document) of yourself and of all persons moving with you.
• If you are not a Dutch national: a copy of a valid residence document.
• Copy of pay slip or an overview of your benefits for the last 3 months for yourself and for all persons who are moving with you.

Are you an entrepreneur? Then you must also send the following attachments:

• An official statement from your bookkeeper or accountant with the following information:
  • Your current gross income.
  • An annual statement of the previous year.
  • An extract from the Chamber of Commerce.

If you and/or persons moving with you are unable to provide these documents:

• A statement of registered income for the previous year.
  or
• A final income tax assessment for the previous year.

If you have temporary residence status related to study:

• Proof of full-time enrollment at a training institute in the Haaglanden region.

Do you have a business?

• Your company's most recent annual report and an extract from the Chamber of Commerce.
