Job fair XXL at SilverDome brings job seekers and companies together
On Tuesday, May 20, a job fair for job seekers and employers took place in a well-filled SilverDome in Zoetermeer. Six cooperating municipalities in the South Holland Central region, UWV and Werkbedrijf De Binnenbaan organized an XXL version this time. More than 80 companies were present at the job fair from, among others, the security sector, construction & engineering, facilities, green, hospitality & retail, government, production, transport & logistics, business services and care. In addition to the companies, several temporary employment agencies were present with jobs in these sectors.
The companies at the job fair came from Zoetermeer, Lansingerland, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Pijnacker-Nootdorp, Voorschoten and Wassenaar. These municipalities are all part of the WerkgeversServicepunt Zuid-Holland Centraal (WSP ZHC), the network organization behind the job fair.
Patrick de Wolf, manager WSP/Werkbedrijf De Binnenbaan: "What a great day! The job fair really exceeded all our expectations. There were SO many people, and that was mainly due to the wide range of companies and the extra effort of colleagues and marketing this year. It was pleasantly busy, with plenty of opportunities for everyone to discover what their next step could be. Truly something to be proud of in our region."
