Election day schedule Oct. 29, 2025
Wednesday, October 29, 2025, polling stations in Zoetermeer will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for residents wishing to vote. After 9 p.m., all members of a polling station together count the votes at the party level. That means we only look at how many votes were received per party.
On Thursday, October 30, 2025, during the day, a group of counters will count all the votes per candidate of each party. We will do this central counting at De Uitkijk, Wattstraat 64 in Zoetermeer.
Polling stations: who does what when?
Each polling station has a morning shift (chairperson and 4 members) and an afternoon shift (chairperson and 4 members). After 9 p.m., the polling station is closed and all chairmen and all members together count the votes for each party. Thus, the morning shift returns to the polling station in the evening.
The minutes will be brought to City Hall after the count by both presidents.
Note! This counting sometimes takes until after midnight, depending on the number of votes cast at the polling station. Please take this into account with (public) transportation to and from home.
