Are you thinking with us about a more accessible Zoetermeer?
The Physical Accessibility Council (RFT) is looking for 2 new members. The RFT advises the municipality on how Zoetermeer can become more accessible for all inhabitants. They do this from personal experience and in collaboration with each other.
We are currently looking for:
- A member representing the interests of the elderly. Do you have experience with the challenges of aging? And would you like to contribute ideas on how housing, shopping areas and amenities can become more suitable for seniors?
- A member who has experience using a mobility scooter. Do you know what obstacles you encounter along the way and how the city can be better designed for people with mobility impairments?
As a member of the RFT, you talk with the municipality, visit places in the city and take a critical look at plans and projects. You use your own experience and that of others to ensure that Zoetermeer becomes truly accessible.
