Area development Entree Zoetermeer signed at Provada

Important new agreements for the further development of the Entree area in Zoetermeer were signed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, during the real estate fair Provada in Amsterdam. Municipality of Zoetermeer , together with landowners Breevast, Hillborgh and Van Omme & De Groot, signed new anterior agreements. A cooperation agreement has also been signed with these parties.

The agreements ensure that agreements on costs, cooperation and land transactions are well established. They are consistent with the new Environs Entrance Program, which consists of a development vision, an image quality plan and a design for public space.

Collaboration

Alderman Iedema of Zoetermeer says this step secures an important part of the area development. "With this the municipality keeps a grip on the land and ensures that the cooperation between the various parties runs smoothly. It fits well with our progress that new initiators who want to settle in Entree join this cooperation."

Entrance

The Entrance Area is located on both sides of the Afrikaweg, between the A12 motorway and the center of Zoetermeer. The outdated office area will be transformed into a lively, sustainable and healthy urban district with space for up to 7,250 homes, social facilities, offices and small-scale business activity. The development focuses on good accessibility, lots of greenery and an attractive living environment. Entree is close to Zoetermeer Station and forms an important link between the districts of Meerzicht, Driemanspolder and Rokkeveen.

Milestone

The signing at Provada marks an important milestone in the progress of Entree as a future-proof urban district in Zoetermeer. Breevast signed for up to 3100 homes on Boerhaavelaan (East 1 to 8) and Hillborgh for up to 1050 homes on Bredewater (West 1 and 4). Van Omme & De Groot plans to build a maximum of 220 homes on the Bredewater (West 2). All parties have also signed for a large share in the realization of the other non-residential functions.
