How can we better support residents with concerns about money work and housing?

Worries about money, work and housing can cause a lot of stress. The municipality wants to be able to better help residents with these worries. That is why we are engaging with residents about their experiences in various ways. With the insights from these conversations, we can better match the support offered to their needs.

Share your experience and complete the questionnaire

The municipality would like to know if help is easy to find, how residents are helped and treated, and how we can prevent (money) worries from growing. You can share your experience in different ways:

In addition, the municipality is going door-to-door in the Buytenwegh, Palenstein and Meerzicht neighborhoods in a number of locations to engage with residents on this topic.

Story collection

Back in 2024, the municipality spoke with a number of residents who work but still struggle to make ends meet. That resulted in a collection of stories with personal experiences. The new research is a follow-up to this and helps to make policy even more focused. Listen to the stories here
