Incidental festivity, notification
The municipality designates a number of days or parts of days for collective festivities each year. During these moments, more generous noise standards are permitted. The General By-law contains rules to limit nuisance for local residents. As a company or association, you must adhere to these rules. You do not need to report days that are designated as collective festivities.
Occasional festivity
Do you have a catering business? Then, in addition to the collective festivities, you may also organize an 'incidental festivity' up to 6 times per year. You must report this to the municipality in advance.
