Children's play afternoon on Sept. 7 Hof van Seghwaert dedicated to Hedgehogs
On Sunday, Sept. 7, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be another children's play afternoon in the Court of Seghwaert for children ages approximately 3 to 8. The weather outside is still nice, but some animals are already starting to prepare for winter. Traditionally, the Hedgehog Care Zoetermeer visits in September. The theme of this afternoon is therefore: hedgehogs.
The afternoon starts with reading aloud by the "Voorleesexpress", the hedgehog shelter tells all kinds of things about hedgehogs and of course you can do crafts and play. Of course you can also pick out books at the stray book station. Put on clothes and shoes (or boots) that can get dirty. This activity is free and registration is not necessary.
The Hof van Seghwaert is a pear orchard in the middle of the Seghwaert neighborhood. There is a special area for children where you can play nicely with the water pump and the mud kitchen. Climb the watchtower, walk the barefoot path or hide in the secret hut. There are also animals in the orchard such as chickens and rabbits.
More information can be found on our website Hof van Seghwaert and via Facebook or Instragram. The pear orchard is located at the parking lot near Gaardedreef 169, 2723 AZ Zoetermeer. The Hof is a 2-minute walk from Seghwaert Randstadrail station.
