Free placards
It is prohibited in Zoetermeer to plaster objects or have them plastered. This is laid down in the General Local Bye-Law Zoetermeer (APV), article 2:32. To allow the expression of opinions and announcements, 14 free posting columns have been placed.
Billboards
On these billboards, anyone may announce through posters, messages (expressions of opinion) and events (announcements).
The posting of commercial advertising (brand and product advertising) and obscene, racist or offensive posters and/or texts are not permitted. These are punishable and will be removed.
The billboards are cleaned 3 times a year:
- late January - early February
- late May - early June
- late October - early November

- Cleaning round 2: week 24 (June 10-June 14) (after the European Parliament elections on Thursday, June 6, 2024)
