You can come to a neighborhood drop-in center for a nice cup of coffee or tea. You can also come here if you have questions. Volunteers work in the community centers to help you. They can help you, for example, with making a report or finding the right care.

Walk-in center for all residents. You can come here with questions about care and welfare services. The range of activities includes language classes, cooking, creative activities and eating together. Children can go to the talent academy, the elderly to the Vonkje.
During school vacations, there is a special program.

Neighborhood garden the 'Ambachtsheerlijkheid'
Since the summer of 2020, the Palenstein neighborhood has gained a gem in the form of a neighborhood garden called Ambachtsheerlijkheid. Designed, maintained and admired by residents young and old. They have joined hands in the difficult Covid times to meet, inspire and encourage each other in a safe way. Also to provide a colorful, fragrant and buzzing experience for the neighborhood and all the residents who walk by it. Not to mention a pleasant chat, when the residents are working there.
