Neighborhood prevention in the spotlight
Mayor Michel Bezuijen thanked the Wijk en Agent Samen (WAS) teams and the administrators of the neighborhood whatsapp groups for their efforts in their neighborhoods! He did this during the annual neighborhood prevention meeting. There was an interactive quiz on fake news. Participants also received a brief training on how to act on suspicious situations and how to make a good alert.
WAS seeks new members
Every neighborhood has an WAS team. Your neighborhood too! In this team, local residents and neighborhood policemen work together. They patrol the neighborhood and report abuses.
