But above all, experiencing culture or making it yourself ensures that you relax and have fun.
Cultural Vision 2030
Zoetermeer is working towards a vibrant arts and culture sector. With the Cultural Vision 2030 'The city lives, live the city' we want to give direction to this. Together with the arts and culture sector, an implementation agenda has been drawn up for the Cultural Vision 2030.

Meeting Jan. 29 Implementation Agenda Cultural Vision 2030
Are you involved with arts and culture in Zoetermeer? Then come to the meeting about the Implementation Agenda of the Cultural Vision 2030 on Wednesday, January 29. Led by chairman of the day Laurens de Groot (Man with the suitcase) we will discuss the agenda for the period 2026-2030. All cultural players in Zoetermeer are welcome to join the discussion.
Background
On May 19, 2021, the City Council adopted the Cultural Vision 2030 "The city lives, live the city" and on December 6, 2022, the corresponding Implementation Agenda. In cooperation with the project organization of the basic cultural institutions (B6), the municipality is organizing a meeting on January 29 to update the agenda for the period 2026-2030.
Objective
During the meeting, we will discuss what is needed in the near future to realize the goals of the Cultural Vision 2030. You can join us at six tables to discuss the eight different program lines:
1. Stable base + 2. Room for growth
3. Culture around the corner + 5. Everyone participates
4. New flavors, new creators
6. Learned young, done old
7. Making gold
8. Zoetermeer gives color

Walk-in starts at 5:45 p.m. The outline of the program is as follows:
6:00 - 6:20 p.m.: Opening
6:20 - 7:30 p.m.: Table discussions program lines
7:30 - 8:00 p.m.: Closing

Arts and Culture Award Zoetermeer 2024
Which artistic or cultural achievement stood out the most in the past year? On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Art and Culture Award and the Incentive Award will be presented in the CKC & Partners.
