Pear tree pruning course on January 20

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, a (refresher) course on pruning pear trees will be organized at Hof van Seghwaert. The course will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is intended for anyone who wants to brush up on their pruning skills and/or get some hands-on experience.

After a brief instruction, participants will have the opportunity to immediately assist with pruning the pear trees. This allows theory to be put into practice right away.

Good to know

  • Participation is free for anyone who comes to help with pruning a few times in January and February (in consultation).
  • Soup and sandwiches will be provided during lunch.
  • This course is suitable for both beginners and people with some experience.
  • Pruning equipment is provided by Hof van Seghwaert.
