Roof Festival Downtown Zoetermeer
Saturday, August 31, was the 1st edition of the rooftop festival. The most beautiful roof (City Hall), Urban roof (parking garage P5), Beach roof (The European), Highest roof (residential tower Northward) Oldest roof (church tower Old Church) were the scene of dance, sports, cabaret, lectures, music and more. Something for everyone. The sun was shining and visitors were cheerful. All elements for a successful day.
The roof of residential tower The European had been converted into a real beach roof for the occasion. Complete with everything you need on a beautiful beach day. Sun, umbrellas and cocktails. At 11 a.m. Alderman Iedema opened the rooftop festival from this roof with the symbolic "launching" of a balloon.
