Join NLdoet in Meerzicht
During NLdoet, the annual volunteer campaign organized by the Oranje Fonds, we are organizing a sustainable and healthy cooking activity for residents of the neighborhood on Friday, March 13, at our drop-in location in Meerzicht. It will be a day where we not only cook together, but also roll up our sleeves and get to work.
We prepare a light soup, a fresh salad, and a simple, healthy dessert. We use local and fresh products and consciously choose to use natural, reusable materials such as wooden cutting boards and stainless steel bowls. We avoid plastic as much as possible and use leftovers wisely to prevent food waste.
After cooking, we all sit down together at one table, because eating together encourages interaction, connection, and new contacts in the neighborhood.
In addition to cooking enthusiasts, we are also looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to help with tidying up and cleaning. We will make the kitchen space fresh, organized, and practical again, so that it is ready for future cooking activities.
Whether you enjoy cooking, prefer cleaning, or simply want to have a fun and meaningful day, your help is greatly appreciated. Together, we will make NLdoet a sustainable, tasty, and connecting day!
