Poem May 4&5

Eight decades of freedom, so precious and fine,
On May 4, we remember, with a tear and a semblance.
The shadow of war, the past so near,
In silence and respect, we stand together, you and they.

The names of heroes, who will never forget us,
Their sacrifices and courage, remain in our hearts to know.
With candles and flowers, shining in the darkness,
Connects us history, rejoicing with love.

On May 5, we celebrate, the freedom we have,
A future full of hope, in which we live together.
Let us never forget, the lessons of the past,
In a world of peace, may we flourish together.
