Preventive closure of buildings
Due to the exceptionally heavy snowfall in recent days, several buildings have been closed. This is the case for the sports hall on Willem Alexanderplantsoen, the Atrium of the building at Rakkersveld 225 (Castellum), and the swimming pool at De Veur. The other facilities of both Castellum and De Veur, such as the schools in Castellum and the childcare center and sports hall at De Veur, are open. There is no immediate danger at any of the locations.
Other sports centers will remain open, as no additional measures are required there. The situation is being closely monitored. If the situation changes, for example if more locations have to close or if reopening is possible, we will inform you via this website.
