Municipality starts series of meetings on digital safety for people over 55
Online crime is on the rise, and seniors are increasingly the target of scams by phone, e-mail or fake websites. That is why the municipality of Zoetermeer, together with the police, inZet and students of MBO Rijnland, is starting a series of information meetings on digital resilience for people over 55.
During this afternoon, participants will learn to recognize the signs of online scams and receive practical tips for staying safe online. There will also be room to share experiences and ask questions of police and digital experts.
The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 26, at inZet Noordhove & Seghwaert, Petuniatuin 7a in Seghwaert. Meetings in other districts of Zoetermeer will follow soon.
