Municipal secretary André Huykman leaves Zoetermeer
Municipal secretary/general manager André Huykman is leaving Zoetermeer municipality after more than six years. Huykman, who held his position since Sept. 1, 2018, says it is time for a new step.
In his message about this to the municipal organization, he praised Zoetermeer as an organization where people dare to bend rules; "you are allowed to be who you are and where you are challenged to make a difference."
The board of mayor and aldermen of Zoetermeer would like to thank the town clerk for his commitment to the Zoetermeer municipality. "What we will always remember is the immense enthusiasm and warmth with which André encouraged the entire organization during the Corona period. Or the patience with which step by step progress was made on vision Zoetermeer 2040 and of course his legendary words under every column: 'Keep your head cool, your feet warm and your heart open'."
We wish André every success in his future position.
