Free tickets for New Year's performance
The municipality of Zoetermeer will celebrate the start of the new year on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, with a New Year's performance at the Stadstheater, followed by a New Year's reception. The performance will take place from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by a reception until 10:30 p.m. Free tickets for the performance can be reserved from Tuesday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m. via the Stadstheater website. No tickets are required for the reception.
Passion for Zoetermeer
With the theme 'Passion for Zoetermeer', The Dutch Tenors will perform a musical tribute to the city and its residents during the show. This talented quartet has quickly made a name for itself thanks to its distinctive approach to classical pop music. Bert van Leeuwen will host the evening.
Volunteer Award
During the performance, volunteers from Zoetermeer will be honored with the presentation of the volunteer award. Mayor Michel Bezuijen: "Volunteers are indispensable to Zoetermeer. They do incredibly important work, from healthcare to sports, from nature to culture and much more. That deserves our appreciation, and we are happy to show that during the New Year's performance with the presentation of the volunteer award!"
Performance can only be attended with a ticket
Starting Tuesday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m., residents can order tickets for the performance via the City Theater website. Tickets are free of charge.
New Year's reception for everyone
The New Year's reception that follows is open to all residents of Zoetermeer, even if they did not manage to get a ticket for the performance.
