Hague College students with their fresh eyes!

On Thursday, November 28, students from the Haagse Hogeschool Zoetermeer conducted a field study in 7 Zoetermeer parks. They not only looked at the physical environment of the parks and the facilities there, but also interviewed users of the parks.

In the afternoon, each group of students presented their findings before a panel of judges. They gave suggestions on how the municipality of Zoetermeer could make the parks even more attractive to users, and encourage exercise and meeting in the Zoetermeer parks. The jury had a hard time choosing the best idea because the students came up with such interesting out of the box ideas! From installing telescopes to better signage, from scavenger hunts to collaborating with community organizations, there was plenty to choose from!
