Legalize signature
If you need to prove that your signature on a document is really yours, you can have your signature legalized. You can arrange this with the municipality. The municipality will then certify that the signature is genuine.
Legalizing a signature is often required:
- On documents to be sent abroad.
- If you give your consent to something, for example, if you are a guarantor for family or friends from abroad.
- If you want to settle an inheritance abroad.
The signature must be made in person in the presence of a Public Square employee. You can do this in any municipality.
