Help create safe business parks
The municipality has launched a campaign together with Report Crime Anonymously (M.) against abuses in business parks. Because of their logistical or, on the contrary, remote location, business parks are sometimes attractive hiding places for criminals. This has serious consequences for the safety of employees and entrepreneurs. Premises can be used for the production of drugs or to store weapons, illegal fireworks or explosive substances. This leads to life-threatening situations in a business building, for example.
Do you work in a business park?
With your vigilance, much misery can be prevented and you can really make a difference! You may see signs that others do not, such as:
- Activities at odd times.
- Unknown persons or cars, such as vans, expensive cars or foreign license plates.
- Secretly hauling stuff.
- A chemical smell or hemp smell.
- Excessive (camera) security.
- Shielded doors or windows.
- A business without a signboard, logo, website, staff or customers.
- Business activities that do not fit a business.
- Illegal habitation with too many people on top of each other.
Report anonymously and don't give crime space
You can report signals via phone number 0800-7000 or in a secure environment via meldmisdaadanoniem.nl. The hotline is completely separate from the police and does not see a phone number or IP address. They do not record your conversation or store any data. Cases are resolved daily with the reports.
