Hennie Minneboo receives Chapeau pin for years of dedication in Meerzicht
Committed, enterprising, connecting, caring and accessible. These are a few key words that apply to Hennie Minneboo. De Goede Woning and her fellow residents of the Alferbos apartment block have nominated her as a committed resident of Meerzicht to receive a chapeau pin. As chairwoman of the residents' committee, she has devoted herself for years to a safe, clean and connected living environment. She organizes neighborhood meetings with others, supports vulnerable residents and addresses the municipality on areas for improvement.
Thanks to her efforts, among other things, parking spaces for bicycles have been created, adoptive greenery has been planted, and joint cleanups have been set up. She also initiated a successful fundraising campaign for an AED in the apartment.
With her warm commitment, decisiveness and eye for all residents, young and old, Hennie Minneboo is an inspiring example of how one person can move an entire neighborhood.
Hennie is also active in tenants association HUIB, where she advocates for the interests of all tenants of De Goede Woning.
It is therefore more than deserved that Hennie received the Chapeau Medal on behalf of the Zoetermeer City Council from the hands of district alderwoman Véronique Frinking.
