Reminder registration informal care appreciation

You are a family caregiver when you care for someone long-term, intensively and unpaid. This may be a family member, a friend, a neighbor or someone else you hang out with and have a personal connection to.

This year, the informal care appreciation of the municipality of Zoetermeer again consists of a one-time financial appreciation of € 200,- for informal caregivers from the age of 18. In this way, the municipality of Zoetermeer shows its appreciation for the efforts of its volunteer caregivers. Register on the Mantelzorgcentraal website at zoetermeer.mantelzorgcentraal.nl/aanmeldformulier and indicate that you would like to receive the appreciation. Note! The application period for the Mantelzorgwaardering is until November 10 this year.

When do you qualify?

You are eligible if you provide unpaid intensive care (more than 8 hours per week) for a longer period of time (more than 3 consecutive months) for a loved one and are 18 years or older yourself. Per caregiver a maximum of 1 appreciation will be provided.

Once the application is sent, you will receive an automatic confirmation at the email address provided. Not seen or received? The confirmation may end up in your junk mail. After registration, you will receive the newsletter for family caregivers 3 times a year with current national and municipal information on family care.

Children and youth can also be caregivers

Children and young people aged 8 to 18 who grow up in a family with extra care can apply for the Mantelzorgwaardering via the website zoetermeer.mantelzorgcentraal.nl/aanmelden-jonge-mantelzorger. The appreciation for them consists of a gift card from Bol.com worth €20.
