Youth performance: Theater after the Dam in Zoetermeer
This performance is part of the youth projects of Theater na de Dam, a national initiative in which more than 100 theater performances are performed around the National Remembrance Day. The central theme is the Second World War.
In Zoetermeer, young people, under the guidance of a theatre maker, will search for the local history of the city during the war years. Their research forms the basis for a unique performance, which they will bring to the stage themselves.
By telling stories from the past, these young theatre makers bring history to life and show why remembrance and freedom are still relevant.
