Winners Christmas tree contest
Saturday, January 11, Christmas trees could be handed in at 14 collection points in the city. 3,700 Christmas trees were collected, making the action very successful! These trees will get a nice, new destination. They are shredded and processed into compost and biomass to generate energy. Each tree handed in earned a lottery ticket with a chance to win great prizes. The winning numbers are now known.
