Bring in your Christmas tree and win!
Your Christmas tree could earn you a nice reward. On Saturday, January 10, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., drop off your (real) Christmas tree at one of the collection points in the city.
For each Christmas tree, you will receive a mandarin orange and a raffle ticket, giving you the chance to win the prizes listed below. We collect the Christmas trees so that we can recycle them. They are shredded at the self-service depot and then turned into compost and biogas by a recycling company.

On Saturday, January 10, you will find a collection point at the locations listed below. The winning numbers will be announced on Thursday, January 29, in Het Streekblad on this website. Are you one of the winners? If so, please contact the customer service department of Afvalinzameling on Argonstraat 14 079, option 2. You have until March 6, 2026, to collect your prize.
