Children's playtime dedicated to 'freedom'

On Sunday afternoon, May 4, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., there will be another children's play afternoon in the Court of Seghwaert. The afternoon is for children from about 3 to 8 years old. The theme on this day is, of course, "freedom.

We start with the Reading Express, then we go into the orchard and crafts can be done. The children's book drive will also be there again. Put on clothes and shoes or boots that can get dirty. There is no charge and this afternoon is organized and given by volunteers.

The Hof van Seghwaert is an orchard in the middle of the Seghwaert neighborhood. There is a special place for children where you can play nicely with the water pump and the mud kitchen. Climb the watchtower, walk on the barefoot path or hide in the secret hut. There are also animals in the orchard such as chickens and rabbits. When the children are busy the supervisors/parents can walk through the orchard, visit the silence garden, have a cup of tea or coffee on our terrace or visit the store which includes homemade items made from pear wood and our own pear juice for sale.

More information about our activities and opening hours can be found at www.hofvanseghwaert.nl and on Facebook and Instagram. The Hof van Seghwaert is located at the parking lot near Gaardedreef 169, 2723 AZ Zoetermeer.
