You can file a complaint if: 

  • You have not been treated properly by an official or administrator.
  • You do not receive a response to a letter or you have to wait too long for a response.
  • The municipality does not keep agreements that are made.
  • You ask for information, but you don't get it from the municipality.
  • You are not satisfied with a tender process.

How long will it take?
  • The municipality will contact you within 2 weeks to discuss your complaint. 
  • Does the municipality launch an investigation? Then you will receive a response to your complaint within 6 weeks. 
  • There is a 10-week period for handling complex cases. We will inform you about this. 
  • Are you not satisfied with the handling of your complaint? Then you can file a complaint with the National Ombudsman.
