Coffee and handyman service at Meerbos and Boszicht
Residents of the Meerbos and Boszicht apartment buildings on Vrouwenhuiswaard were invited to visit the party tent on the lawn next to the buildings on Thursday afternoon, November 27. They had the opportunity to talk to employees of De Goede Woning about their homes and to contribute ideas about making the buildings more sustainable.
Everyone was offered a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and a doughnut. Local contractor Constructif was also present with a repair van. Tenants could report minor repairs in their homes and have them fixed immediately by the local contractor. Examples included a leaking tap, a loose toilet seat, or a door that stuck. The neighborhood police officer and the Meerzicht neighborhood director from the municipality also stopped by.
Unfortunately, the weather was not too good. It was cold and gray, and there was a strong wind. Nevertheless, around 30 residents came to the party tent and had good conversations.
