Friday, Jan. 3, 9 a.m.

Meerzicht Avenue is completely closed between Abdissenbos and Bredewater due to a water main break. Due to the break, a lot of water is flowing over the road, causing asphalt to be washed away. The entrance and exit to the Meerzicht neighborhood from the Afrikaweg is therefore not accessible. Road users are advised to drive via the Amerikaweg.

The fracture occurred during the night and work is currently underway to repair the fracture and the road. At this time, it is not known how long the work will take. As soon as more information is available, we will share an update through our social media channels and on our website.
