Study launched on ov accessibility HagaZiekenhuis Zoetermeer and RHOC

HagaZiekenhuis Zoetermeer and Reinier Haga Orthopedisch Centrum (RHOC) and the municipality of Zoetermeer consider it very important that the care locations in Zoetermeer are easily accessible for patients, visitors and employees. This is in line with the commitments made by the municipality of Zoetermeer. Therefore, these parties are jointly launching a study into the accessibility by public transport (ov) of the hospital and the RHOC.

Why this research?

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of how patients, visitors and staff travel to the healthcare sites. The study focuses on accessibility by public transportation. It examines what goes well, what could be improved and what needs patients, staff and visitors have. The survey consists of a short questionnaire. The questions deal, for example, with current ov connections and the route from a stop to the hospital.

Follow-up

An outside research firm will process the results in a report. Based on the results, a plan will be made in the fall of 2025 with targeted measures to improve public transport accessibility.

Research questionnaire is available

The questionnaire is available to patients, visitors and employees of HagaZiekenhuis Zoetermeer and RHOC from June 26. Completing it will only take a few minutes. The questionnaire can be completed until July 18, 2025 via the following link: www.hagaziekenhuis.nl/ov-bereikbaarheidsonderzoek.
