Oosterhage business park
The Oosterhage site is the business park (approx. 15 ha) on the edge of the Oosterheem neighborhood. Over the years, a number of lots have been issued and realized, but a large part still lies fallow.
The location/destination
The Businesspark Oosterheem is the business park located on the Willem Dreeslaan. The Businesspark Oosterheem concerns small-scale offices, companies and social and commercial facilities on both sides of the Willem Dreeslaan. Most of the Willem Dreeslaan is already built up, with the exception of one plot between Sasma and Eneco.

In the Oosterhage/Business Park Oosterheem Business Park zoning plan, a location has been designated for a "motor fuel outlet," with the possibility of a car wash and/or shop. A catering establishment up to a maximum of 200 m² may also be realized there. Sale of LPG (autogas) is not allowed at this location. The location is on the corner of Olof Palmelaan and Opticaweg. The entrance to the site will be on Huygensstraat. The land for the realization of a filling station is leased by the municipality of Zoetermeer to Kuwait Petroleum (Nederland) BV.
State of affairs
On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Kuwait Petroleum (Ned.) B.V. and the municipality of Zoetermeer organized a walk-in meeting about the building plans for the Tango gas station. About 30 local residents engaged in a discussion with the architect and developer based on the plans and drawings. Questions and objections were mainly about the light and noise pollution, but serious concerns were also expressed about the young people who already cause a lot of nuisance in this neighborhood. We collected all comments and submitted them to the architect and developer for review. They will see if it is possible to modify the plans based on the comments received. Attendees will receive a response to their questions and concerns by email.
