Podcast on money for young adults
Talking about your money problems, bad investments and wanting to make more money a taboo? Not as far as Naïma and Linda from the municipality of Zoetermeer are concerned. They sit down for a podcast series and discuss everything young adults face when it comes to money. From finfluencers, girl math, to getting financial aid and buying a house. On Sept. 9, 2024, they will launch the "OMG Money Talks Podcast" on Spotify and YouTube.
In the podcast, Naïma and Linda from the Zoetermeer City Council give tips on how to be smarter about money and everything that comes your way in the real and digital world. They help you grow your money, rather than your money problems.
Research shows that nearly half (49 percent) of young people living independently have difficulty making ends meet. In fact, over a quarter find it very difficult to make ends meet.
To prevent money problems and debt, it is important to bring the topic of money out of the taboo. On September 9, we will festively launch the podcast with very special ice creams. We are still looking for volunteers who can make time somewhere between 11:00 and 15:30 to help us distribute this valuable, educational and fun podcast about Dealing With Money to young people in Zoetermeer.
We will announce the exact schedule and execution at a later date. If you are no longer able to help us then, you can of course indicate that then.
