Response of the college of B&W to the departure of alderman Wim Blansjaar

Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 Alderman Wim Blansjaar decided to resign from his position. The college regrets this decision, but respects the difficult choice he has made.

We got to know Wim Blansjaar as a committed administrator who put his heart and soul into Zoetermeer. He brought an entrepreneurial outlook and a lot of energy to his work.

As a college we look back on a pleasant cooperation. We have experienced Wim as a fine and warm colleague. We thank him for his commitment and everything he has meant to Zoetermeer. We wish him every success and happiness in the future.
