Let's work together to make the Palenstein neighborhood more beautiful during NLdoet!
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, volunteers from the Ambachtsheerlijkheid neighborhood garden and the Palenstein Litter Brigade, together with the Piëzo Foundation, are organizing a fun and active NLdoet afternoon. Everyone is welcome to join in.
The afternoon starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Ambachtsheerlijkheid community garden, next to the Tango location on Ambachtsherenlaan. District alderman Weerwag will officially launch the Cigarette Butt-Free Singel pilot there. With creative and playful activities, such as chalk messages, 'smoking poles,' and posters, we will draw attention to the prevention of environmental damage caused by litter cigarette butts. From 1:30 p.m., you can get involved yourself. Help prepare the neighborhood garden for spring, clean up litter, brighten up the Atrium and the planters at the PiëzoCentrum at Rakkersveld 253, or bake pancakes for all participants.
At 2:45 p.m., we will enjoy pancakes together at the PiëzoCentrum. This is also a great opportunity to talk to each other and to participating representatives. We will conclude the day around 4:00 p.m. You can register via the NLdoet website or by sending an email to chrivisnels@hetnet.nl.
