Nutricia painting decorates bare meeting room in City Hall

Nutricia and Zoetermeer have been inseparable for more than 125 years. Four years ago, in honor of its anniversary, the company donated money to the municipality. Together with local residents, this money was used to renovate the playground at Ferdinand Bolstraat. Since then, employees from Nutricia and the municipality have been visiting each other more often.

For example, Nutricia employees attended the opening of the playground in 2023. And in June, city council members and the neighborhood director visited the factory and the "Nutricia Museum," which is housed within the factory grounds. Nutricia- Danone director Bart Wolfert presented a beautiful painting on that occasion, which now has a place on the third floor of City Hall. In the 'Nutricia' meeting room, of course.

Alderman Blansjaar and director Bart Wolfert unveiled the painting on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The "unveiling" was then celebrated in the presence of neighborhood alderman Jan Iedema, retired Nutricia employees/museum managers, city council members and invited guests.
