Play farm Het Buitenbeest celebrates 10-year anniversary
With musical revelry, jubilant children and a warm word from Alderman Marijke van der Meer, Speelboerderij Het Buitenbeest ushered in the anniversary weekend for its 10th anniversary. On July 4, 2014, Speelboerderij Het Buitenbeest opened its doors. The leisure center, neighborhood gardens and petting zoo continued together as a play farm. In a brief word, Alderman Van der Meer looked back on the 10 years in which Het Buitenbeest played an important role in strengthening the community: "What makes Speelboerderij Het Buitenbeest so special is that it is more than just a place to play. It is a place where everyone feels at home and where you are always welcome," the alderman said.

Over the past 10 years, Play Farm Het Buitenbeest has developed into a central meeting place where children up to 12 years old and their parents come together to play, learn and enjoy nature. Thanks to the efforts of dedicated staff and volunteers, the play farm provides a safe, educational and enjoyable environment. Festive anniversary weekend
In honor of this special anniversary, Play Farm Het Buitenbeest is organizing a festive anniversary weekend from July 5 to 7, 2024. This weekend is full of activities for young and old. The festivities start on Friday, July 5, at 2:30 p.m. with an official opening by Zoetermeer City Councilwoman Marijke van der Meer.
On Saturday, July 6 and 7, visitors at the play area can participate in various activities, they can do crafts, there is an air cushion, theater, balloon folding and much more. In addition, at the animal section there is also plenty to do. There, visitors will go back in time and enter prehistoric times.
