City Makers Café
Do you care about your city, district, or neighborhood? Are you working on a great initiative to make Zoetermeer a little better, greener, or more social? Or do you just want to find out how others are doing it? Then the Stadmakerscafé in the Huis van Actief Burgerschap (House of Active Citizenship) is the place for you!
The Stadmakerscafé is an inspiring opportunity for anyone who wants to contribute something positive to society: from engaged citizens to local entrepreneurs, artists, organizations, and municipal initiatives. Come by to exchange ideas, explore collaborations, and recharge your batteries.
Because city building isn't something you do alone—it's something you do together! Over a drink, you can meet other city builders, share experiences, and discover how small initiatives can make a big difference.
Every second Thursday of the month, you are welcome to visit the Stadmakerscafé (City Makers Café) between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Huis van Actief Burgerschap (House of Active Citizenship), located in the Franx art garage at Vlamingstraat 1.
The first edition will kick off with a festive event on December 11, 2025. No registration is required; just drop in. Come along, be inspired, and help build the city of tomorrow!
