Schools, associations, churches and foundations can apply for a waste paper (and cardboard) subsidy. The scrap paper must come from household waste.

What do you need to know?

Where to collect?

As a school, association, church or foundation, you collect waste paper at a fixed location on your own premises and/or by collecting door-to-door. You must use a roller container of at least 660 liters.

How much do you get?

The amount to be paid out consists of 2 components:

  1. Waste paper fee.
  2. The grant.

The subsidy is always €0.03 per kilo. The fee for the waste paper depends on the price of paper and can vary from month to month. From this fee, the cost of emptying the container is deducted.

Permit required

To receive the subsidy, you must have a collection permit. You can arrange this using the Waste Paper Subsidy Application form.
