Successful start Music Salon Meerzicht inspires new musical afternoons
The first edition of Music Salon Meerzicht was a great success. The turnout was impressive, the atmosphere warm and nostalgic and visitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves. People sang along, memories were shared and even a dance was not skipped.
The Music Salon is an initiative of enthusiastic volunteers with a love for classical records and the music of the past. Lovers of music from the '50s and '60s - and everything that comes close to it - can indulge themselves here. In addition to pop and rock, you can also hear country, blues, folklore and sometimes even a touch of classical music.
The Music Salon is not just a place to listen: it's mostly about participating. Visitors can bring their own records or CDs to play favorite songs, share a musical story or even give a small performance. Each edition offers room for input from the neighborhood.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., is the next Music Salon at the inZet drop-in location Meerzicht, and from January 2026, the Music Salon will be held every last Thursday of the month.

Thursday, Dec. 4 and from 2026 every last Thursday of the month from 3 to 5 p.m. at walk-in location Meerzicht, Uiterwaard 21 (next to Physiotherapy Meerzicht).
