Review of the Eating & Meeting network meeting

On Wednesday, May 14, many social eating initiatives came together at Middin Heemburgh for the annual Eten & Ontmoeten network meeting. It was a pleasant and educational afternoon full of inspiration to get to know each other, share experiences and explore new collaborations. Alderman Véronique Frinking was also there. She expressed her appreciation for everyone who works to make Zoetermeer a warm, social city.

This year's focus was on sustainability. The organization Shareaty showed how to use surplus food to make delicious soups and pasta sauces. They deliver leftovers (such as fruit, rice, vegetables, meat, etc.) to social eating places in Zoetermeer.

Everyone was given a nice bag made of recycled fabrics made by the Crafts Workshop afterwards. The bag also contained the new road map with all the eating places in the city.

Eating together. Enjoying together. Strong together!
