Recap of the Eating & Meeting network meeting

On Wednesday 14 May, many social food initiatives came together at Middin Heemburgh for the annual network meeting of Eten & Ontmoeten. It was a pleasant and educational afternoon full of inspiration to get to know each other, share experiences and explore new collaborations. Alderman Véronique Frinking was also there. She expressed her appreciation for everyone who is committed to making Zoetermeer a warm, social city.

This year sustainability was the focus. The organization Shareaty showed how you can use food surpluses to make delicious soups and pasta sauces. They deliver leftovers (such as fruit, rice, vegetables, meat etc.) to social eating places in Zoetermeer.

Afterwards everyone received a nice bag made of recycled fabrics that was made by the Ambachtenwerkplaats. The bag also contained the new route map with all the places to eat in the city.

Eating together. Enjoying together. Strong together!
