When building www.zoetermeer.nl, we pay great attention to accessibility, build quality and findability. We want to provide all information in such a way that everyone can view and use it.

The website is built according to the EU accessibility standard EN 301 549. This standard is based on internationally recognized agreements on accessibility, sustainability, interchangeability and findability of websites.

Items where the website is not yet satisfactory

Not all pdfs on our website are accessible. Therefore, in the coming months we will convert pdfs as much as possible to regular web pages, long pages with a menu, or interactive forms. In technical areas, the website also does not yet fully meet accessibility requirements. These points can be found in the accessibility statement. This, too, is being worked on.

Accessibility Statement

With some regularity we have our website tested by an independent testing agency. Based on the test report, we can make improvements again. We publish our progress on this page and in our accessibility statement. The statement was drafted on 12-3-2020. Last change is from 7-10-2020.

Other websites

Municipality of Zoetermeer operates several websites. Accessibility statements have been or are being prepared for these as well. For an overview, see the Overview of Municipal Websites page.
