Positive Health Training
How do you view health? We often think of health as not being sick, but health is much broader than that. It is also about how you feel, how you function in daily life and what makes your life meaningful. Find out for yourself and sign up!
This training covers the following themes of Positive Health:
- Participation: How involved do you feel in the community?
- Meaning: what makes your life worth living?
- Quality of life: How satisfied are you with your life as it is now?
- Body functions: How healthy do you feel physically?
- Daily functioning: How do you get through the day and what can you do?
- Mental well-being: How do you feel mentally?
What to expect.
During the Positive Health training you will learn in 3 meetings of 2.5 hours to look at health in a broader way. You will discover in which areas you are doing well and in which areas you yourself can take steps to change things. How big those steps are, is up to you! Together with the trainer, you draw up an action plan and see what opportunities there are for you in Zoetermeer to get started with the changes.
The training concludes with a meeting one month after the second session. During this final meeting, you will look back on your results together. This is the time to decide if you will continue on the same path, or if you want to take other steps.
