Hotel Van der Valk Zilverstraat
Construction of the Van der Valk hotel on Zilverstraat has started. The hotel will partly have a building height of 74 meters and will consist of 192 hotel rooms, meeting and conference rooms, a restaurant, a wellness with swimming pool and fitness facilities and a casino. Sufficient parking spaces will be realized in accordance with the current parking policy.
In anticipation of the development of the hotel, Jack's Casino has realized a temporary casino in collaboration with Van der Valk. The temporary casino will be operated until the definitive casino, which will be housed in the hotel, is put into use.
Status June 2025
Van der Valk became the owner of the land on Zilverstraat on 1 July 2024. They started piling in June 2025. After this, the work on the underside of the building will take place, after which the hotel will eventually go up. The total construction is expected to take approximately 2.5 years. The residents will be kept informed of the work by the builder.
