Peddling

Peddling is the door-to-door or street selling of goods or services where the vendor has no fixed location.

You may peddle for free in Zoetermeer. You do not need a permit. For stands and collecting, a permit is required.

When are you allowed to peddle?

You sell food or other goods (not door-to-door)

  • Monday to Saturday from 9am to 10pm.
  • Sunday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

You are not allowed to drive back and forth in one street or between the same streets and/or neighborhoods and you are not allowed to occupy a fixed place.

You sell/deliver food or other goods door-to-door:

  • Daily from 9am to 7pm except Sundays and public holidays.

Peddling ban

You may not peddle if this endangers public order, public safety, public health or the environment.
