• You apply for a voter ID card in the municipality where you are registered. 
• Keep your voter ID card safe. You will not get a new pass if you lose your voter ID card.
• When you go to vote, you must bring the voter ID card and your ID.

Voter ID Application

This can be done in 4 ways: online, in writing, by phone or in person.

Have you not yet received a voting pass ? If so, you can only apply for a voter pass online.

Apply online

• Complete the form by noon on Friday, October 24, 2025: Voter ID Application.
• You will receive the voter ID card at home.

Written request

• Fill out the form: Request Voter ID (pdf)
• The form must be received by the municipality by Friday, October 24, 2025 12:00 noon.
• You will receive the voter ID card at home.

• Please scan in and email it together with a copy of your voting pass as well as a copy of your valid ID to: verkiezingen@zoetermeer.nl.

Personal request

• Come to the Public Square desk at Engelandlaan 502 in Zoetermeer. You do not need to make an appointment for this.
• Bring your valid ID and voting pass .
• This can be done until noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the latest.
• You will receive the voter ID card immediately.
