Do you want to vote in a different municipality than where you live? If so, you must apply for a voter ID card.

How do you apply for a voter ID card?

  • You apply for a voter ID card in the municipality where you are registered. 
  • Keep your voter ID card safe. You will not get a new pass if you lose your voter ID card.
  • When you go to vote, you must bring the voter ID card and your ID.

This can be done in 3 ways: online, in writing or in person.

Have you not yet received voting pass ? If so, you can only apply for a voter ID card online.

Apply online

  • Complete the form by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024: Voter ID Application.
  • You will receive the voter ID card at home.

Written request

  • Fill out the form: Request Voter ID (pdf)
  • The form must be received by the municipality by 5 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024.

Personal request

  • Come to the Public Square counter at Engelandlaan 502 in Zoetermeer. You do not need to make an appointment for this.
  • Bring your valid ID and voting pass .
  • This can be done no later than noon on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
  • You will receive the voter ID card immediately.
