Palenstein to undergo major renovation in coming years

The municipality of Zoetermeer and the housing corporations De Goede Woning, Stedelink (formerly Vestia) and Vidomes have made agreements to tackle the renewal of Palenstein together. The housing supply, public space and facilities will be improved. The spacious and green layout of the area and its convenient location near roads, the new RandstadRail station and the center area make Palenstein an ideal residential area. Especially if the housing supply becomes more varied with small-scale apartment complexes and family homes.

Zoning plan 2nd partial revision Palenstein, shopping center Croesinckplein e.o. adopted

Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, the City Council adopted the zoning plan 2nd Partial Review Palenstein, shopping center Croesinckplein e.o.

The decision on the final zoning plan and related documents will be available for inspection for a period of six weeks from Oct. 1, 2021, at the Environment Desk in the Stadhuis-Forum at Stadhuisplein 1 in Zoetermeer.

The zoning plan and related documents are also available for digital consultation at www.ruimtelijkeplannen.nl (direct link).

This decision is subject to direct appeal to the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State.

The publication or notification (downloadable at the bottom of this page) of the decision describes who can file an appeal and the time limit for doing so.
