Parking nuisance
Are you experiencing nuisance from an improperly parked vehicle? Then you can report it to the municipality.
A vehicle is improperly parked if, for example:
- Is a danger to others
- Blocking the sidewalk
- Blocking other parked cars
- Standing in a handicapped parking lot without a permit
- Standing at a loading and unloading bay for too long
- Standing in a parking lot for electric cars and not connected to the charging station
Large vehicles may not be parked on public roads in the evenings and on weekends. For more information: Parking large vehicles.
Improperly parked caravans and trailers
A caravan, camper, caravan, camper van, trailer, folding trailer or shack may not be parked on public roads for more than 3 consecutive days. The owner/holder is given 3 days to remove the vehicle. If this vehicle has not been removed after that, Team Enforcement can remove the vehicle. The owner will then receive an official report.

Car, moped and scooter wrecks
Car, moped and scooter wrecks are not allowed on the streets of Zoetermeer. A car wreck is a vehicle that cannot be driven or has been neglected. A (car) wreck can be recognized by flat tires, lots of rust, moldy upholstery or broken windows.
Team Enforcement may request the owner of a wreck to remove the wreck within 14 days. If the wreck is still there after 14 days, Team Enforcement will remove the wreck. The cost of removing the wreck is borne by the owner. The wrecked cars are temporarily stored at a salvage yard. A wreck can be picked up by the owner from the salvage company within 14 days.
